Marion?The Marion golf team competed at the Emporia Invitational April 10.

Hogan Lovelady came in 11th and Wiley Lundy placed 13th, with both golfers earning a score of 90.

?They would have shot in the 70s but found the water on a couple of occasions,? said co-coach Thane Schwartz.

?Emporia has a well-groomed golf course, nice and tight, which allows for a more accurate shot.?

The Warriors were scheduled to compete April 16 at Council Grove before traveling to Salina April 27.

Peabody-Burns?The Warriors competed at their home tournament April 10. They placed second of five schools, scoring 390.

Tommy Morris earned a silver medal with a score of 85 and Matt Hiebert took bronze with 86. McKenzie Ensminger shot 101, Wes Shaw 118 and Cierra Foth 120.
