Centre?The Cougars participated in the 18-hole Marion Invitational Tuesday. Dylan Svitak led the way with a 96, good for 17th place.

Nathaniel Engler shot 106, and Karl Riffel 120. Centre?s fourth golfer, Kodey Johnson, was disqualified.

The Cougars then participated Friday in the 36-hole Marion County Invitational. Kodey Johnson combined a 101 at Hillsboro with a 96 at Marion for a 36-hole score of 197 to place 50th of 77 golfers. Dylan Svitak shot a 226 (119, 107) for 67th.

Goessel?Goessel sent five golfers to Marion for an 18-hole invitational tournament Tuesday. The Bluebirds? four-man team score of 398 placed them fifth among 10 teams. Remington won the tournament with a score of 342.

Trey Schmidt led the Blue?birds with an 84?five strokes behind winner Brooks Brown of Sacred Heart?to earn the fourth-place medal.

Rounding out the Goessel squad was Zach Showalter (103), Reece Hiebert (104) and Dan Smucker (107). Tyler Schulz was disqualified.

Peabody-Burns?Four golf athletes from Peabody-Burns participated in the 18-hole Marion Invitational Tuesday.

The foursome combined for a score of 431, which placed them seventh out of 10 teams. Reming?ton won the tournament with a 342.

Tommy Morris led the Warriors with a 93 for 14th place. Also competing were: Cierra Foth (108), Brooks Hodges (114) and McKenzie Ensminger (116).

The Warriors played in the Marion County Invitational 36-hole tournament Friday. As a team, Peabody-Burns combined for a 36-hole score of 887, good for 12th place among 15 teams. Andale won the tournament with a 651 on 36 holes.

Tommy Morris led the team, combining a 98 at Hillsboro and a 106 at Marion for a 36-hole score of 204 to place 54th out of 77 golfers.

McKenzie Ensminger shot a 211 (102, 109) for 59th, Cierra Foth, a 230 (117, 113) for 70th, and Brooks Hodges, a 242 (129, 113) for 73rd.
