Centre completed an undefeated regular season by blanking Hart ford 45-0 Thursday at Centre,

Centre (8-0) will participate in the 8-man, Division 2 playoffs, starting Tuesday at home against South Haven (8-1) at 6 p.m.

Centre is one of four undefeated teams heading to the state playoffs.Baileyville B&B, Otis-Bison and Bird-City/Cheylin all enter at 9-0.

Centre is also joined by Wheat State League rival Hope (8-1). Centre handed Hope its only loss of the season Sept 17.

If each team wins its first two playoff games, they could match up in the semifinal round.

Hope hosts Hanover (8-1)?Thursday.

Peabody-Burns?In the season following its second straight 0-8 season, the Warriors find themselves in the 8-man, Division 1 state football playoffs.

The Warriors picked up their fourth straight win, defeating Goessel (3-6) 54-6 Thursday in Peabody.

PBHS (6-3) will open the state playoffs Tuesday at Oborne (8-1).

The three losses for PBHS came against teams in the Division 1 or Division 2 playoffs.

The Warriors opened the season with a 54-20 loss to Centre, was blown out by Hope 50-6 Sept. 24 and fell to Lincon 50-48 Oct. 1.

Canton-Galva?The Eagles (1-8) finished their season on an eight-game losing streak after defeatin Hutchinson Central Christian in the opening week.

Clifton-Clyde ended the Eagles season with 60-12 loss.
