The Cougars dropped a 40-18 decision Friday to White City, falling to 0-3 for the season.

Centre fumbled 10 times and lost three of them. White City also intercepted two passes.

But even with the turnover troubles, the Cougars hung tough through two quarters, trailing 20-12 at halftime and pulling within 20-18 at the 6:51 mark of the third quarter on a 25-yard run by Brandon Albrecht.

But White City scored three straight touchdowns through the air to seal the game.
