Goessel?The Bluebirds (6-4) lost their 8-man Div. II playoff game Oct. 30 to B&B, 55-8, to end their season.

Peabody-Burns?The Warriors (6-4) absorbed a season-ending defeat at Rock Hills Oct. 30, 72-26, in the first round of playoffs.

Both teams started slow, with the score just 6-0 at the end of the first quarter, but Rock Hills packed on 28 points before the half and pulled away for the final score.

Senior quarterback Hunter Pickens threw 18 completions for 228 yards and three touchdowns, and ran for 45 rushing yards and one touchdown on 15 carries.

Senior wide receiver Tommy Morris led the Warriors with 123 yards and two touchdowns on five receptions. Braxton Kyle caught nine passes for 74 yards and one touchdown.

Morris led the defense with 13 tackles, followed by Xavier Jabary with 12 and Kyle with 11. Jayden Miller and Lucas Larsen each registered a quarterback sack.
