Canton-Galva—The Eagles lost a home game to Lincoln, 60-14, Friday. Their two touchdowns came in the first half. Nick Vogts ran 25 yards in the first quarter, then threw to Devon Stos for the 2-point conversion. Vogts connected with Stos in the second quarter for the second touchdown, but the extra-point kick failed. Lincoln (4-0) racked up 24 points in the first quarter, adding 16 in the second quarter, 14 in the third and six in the fourth. The Eagles (2-2) will travel to Claflin Friday to play Central Plains (3-1). Centre—The?Cougars lost to White?City Friday, 50-6. Their lone touchdown came at 3:42 left in the first quarter when quarterback Justin Deines threw a 17-yard pass to Kyle Methvin. The 2-point conversion failed. The Huskies (4-0) scored 16 points in the first quarter, 22 in the second and 14 in the third. Centre (0-4) is scheduled to play Rosalie for homecoming Friday. Goessel—The Bluebirds lost Friday to Central Plains 56-6. Their only touchdown came when Trey Schmidt threw to Nicolas Buller in the second quarter to avert the shutout. The Oilers (3-1) scored 48 points in the first quarter and eight in the second quarter. The Bluebirds (0-4) will play Solomon (1-3) Friday. Peabody-Burns—The?Warriors are 2-2 after a 46-0 loss to Hope Friday. They are scheduled to play at Lincoln (4-0) Friday.
