Canton-Galva ?The Eagles (2-19) lost to Mission Valley (1-20) Saturday in a sub-state play-in game, 49-33. Kolby Moddelmog scored 13 points. The loss comes after CGHS fell to Little River (13-7) Feb. 21, 65-58. Nick Vogts had 27 points and Moddelmog added 16 points.
Centre?The Cougars (9-11) did not play this week. They were scheduled to play at Goessel (11-9) in the first round of sub-state Feb. 27.
Goessel?The Bluebirds (11-9) fell to Berean Academy (19-1) Feb. 21, 48-20. They earned a first-round bye for sub-state and are scheduled to play Thursday.
Peabody-Burns?The Warriors (8-11) lost to Hope (17-3) Feb. 21, 61-54. Matt Hiebert had 19 points and Austin Savage scored 16 points.
PBHS is slated to host Chase County Feb. 28 in the first round of sub-state competition.
