Canton-Galva – The Eagles (2-11) lost to Bennington (3-7), 47-29, in the final round of their home invitational Friday. Kolby Mod?delmog scored 15 points for the Eagles.

CGHS defeated St. John?s Military (4-6), 44-43, in the second round Jan. 19, after losing to Wichita Homeschool (8-2), 49-32, Jan. 16.

Taylor Koehn led the Eagles with 10 points Jan. 16. Koehn and Moddelmog teamed up for 13 and 14 points, respectively, against St. John?s.

The Eagles are scheduled to play Marion Jan. 31 before traveling to Inman Feb. 3.

Centre ?The Cougars (4-9) lost to Solomon (4-9), 68-33, in the final round of the Cougar Classic to take sixth place.

They defeated Elyria Christian (1-12), 53-42, in the second round Friday after falling to Peabody-Burns (5-8), 53-27, in the first round Jan. 17.

Ty Simons had 21 points against Elyria with Justin Dienes adding 19 points.

Centre was scheduled to play Flint Hills Christian (1-3) Jan. 24 before taking on Wakefield (2-10) Friday.

Goessel?The Bluebirds (7-6) lost to Inman (6-7) in the finals of the Burrton Tournament Saturday, 55-37. Braden Unruh had 15 points and Trey Schmidt had 10 points.

Goessel lost to Burrton (6-5), 51-43, in the first round Jan. 16. Unruh led for GHS with 13 points and Davis Cook had 11.

GHS bounced back to defeat Central Christian (4-9), 42-40, in the second round Thursday. Unruh led GHS with 12 points and Cook had 10.

The Bluebirds are scheduled to resume play Jan. 31 against Little River (9-4) before traveling to Centre (4-9) Feb. 3.

Peabody-Burns?The War?riors (5-8) lost to White City (10-3) in the final round of the Cougar Classic at Centre Saturday, 55-40 to take fourth place.

The Warriors lost to Hope (11-2), 45-26, before defeating Centre (4-9) in the first round, 53-27. Matt Hiebert scored 16 points against Centre, while Hunter Pickens and Austin Savage added 15 and 11 points.

PBHS is scheduled to play Elyria Christian (1-12) Jan. 31 before taking on Solomon (4-9) Feb. 3 for homecoming.
