Midseason basketball tournaments are over and area schools settled back into their regular league schedules, playing games Tuesday and Friday.
The Peabody-Burns boys? team picked up a pair of wins last week. The Warriors beat Little River, 60-29, Friday and Sedgwick, 41-30, Tuesday.
The Warrior girls did not fair as well, getting blown out by Little River, 44-16, and falling to Sedgwick, 48-32. All games were played at Peabody-Burns.
The Warriors go on the road Tuesday for a match-up with Conton-Galva and will celebrate homecoming Friday against Inman.
Canton-Galva?s girls finished 1-1 last week beating Hutch Trinity Friday, 38-32, and falling to Remington, 29-19, Tuesday.
The Eagle boys went 0-2 in the homestand, falling to Remington, 54-30, Tuesday and Hutch Trinity, 57-29, Friday. Canton-Galva plays Peabody-Burns Tuesday in Canton-Galva and travels to Sedgwick Friday.
The Centre boys split games last week beating Solomon, 57-48, in overtime Tuesday and losing at Lebo, 75-66, Friday.
The Centre girls split as well, beating Solomon, 47-39, Tuesday and falling, 68-41, at Lebo Friday.
Centre travels to Madison Tuesday and Solomon Friday.
The Goessel teams played three games this week. The week started Monday against Flinthills from Rosalia. The boys downed the Mustangs, 68-48, and the girls won, 58-18.
Tuesday, the Bluebirds traveled to Berean Academy and dropped a pair. The boys fell 47-37. The girls kept it close, but lost 38-32.
Goessel visited Inman Friday night. The girls left with a 45-41 victory. The boys fell to Inman 53-39
The Bluebirds return home Tuesday to play Moundridge and travel to Remington Friday.
