Canton-Galva?The Eagles split a doubleheader with Inman Tuesday. Canton-Galva dropped Game 1, 15-5, in six innings.

Inman scored four runs in both the first and second innings to claim an 8-1 lead.

Canton-Galva added four runs in the fourth inning, but the effort was not enough to take the lead.

Connor Farnham, Ryan Grant and Kaden Littrell each made one hit and one RBI. Tanner Klingensmith and Jacob Dailey also contributed one RBI apiece.

On the mound, Klingensmith was the Eagles? losing pitcher.

Canton-Galva followed with a 9-7 victory in Game 2, using a six-run second inning to claim the lead for good.

Chris Miller connected to two hits and had four RBIs, Nick Bray had three hits and one RBI, Klingensmith had two hits and one RBI, and Grant and Dailey each had one hit and one RBI.

Dailey was Canton-Galva?s winning pitcher, scattering eight hits and allowing seven runs (five earned) while walking four hitters and striking out eight.
