Three players from the Hillsboro’s softball team have received recognition from Central Kansas League coaches.
Sophomore Sarah Jost was a second-team selection in the outfield. Senior Shannon Heiser received honorable mention as a utility player and sophomore Taylor Helmer as a pitcher.
Hillsboro completed the 2016 season with a 6-16 record and made it to the regional semifinals.
