Wrestling Club parents to meet Nov. 10

Parents of wrestlers between the ages of 5 and 16 are encouraged to attend a meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, in preparation for the 16th season of the Hillsboro Wrestling Club.

The meeting, which will include signup, fee collection and discussion about the season, will be in the Technology Lecture Hall located on the south side of Hillsboro High School. The entrance is along A Street at Madison.

Parents planning to sign up their child need to bring a photocopy of the child?s birth certificate.

The program will be led by four USA Bronze Level certified coaches: Scott O?Hare, Robbie Delk, Bill Simhiser and Sergio Gomez. They will be assisted by Mark King, Cameron Reimer and Jayson Hanschu.

Practices this season will be on Monday nights, begining Nov. 16. The starting time for all participants will be 6:30 p.m.; younger wrestlers will finish around 7:30 p.m. and the older, more advanced wrestlers will continue until 8 p.m.

Competitive wrestlers will have a second practice from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. most Thursdays.
