‘Sports Brunch’ to air at 7 p.m.

The Free Press Internet sports talk show will be at a special time this week. Instead of the ususal 10:30 a.m. broadcast, ?Sports Brunch? will be live streamed at 7 p.m. in the breaking news section at hillsborofreepress.com.

The show will then be available as on demand under the general sports tab and in the ?Breaking news? scroll.

This week, John Giffin and Dale Vogel sit down with senior Babe Ruth baseball coaches Justin Moore from Hillsboro and Tyler Mermis from Marion.

The foursome will discuss the upcoming summer baseball season, the recently concluded high school baseball season, the College World Series, Major League Baseball, the NBA Finals, and Pac 10 and Big 10 expansion.

On June 2, Marion football and track coach and Emporia State bound Nick Klenda was in the Free Press newsroom.

On May 26, Hillsboro baseball coach Doug Dick and seniors Jacob Edwards and Tyer Ediger talked about their upcoming trip to state.
