Pine Edge to host putting tournament

Pine Edge Golf Course will host its third annual $25,000 Putting Tournament on July 5.

Every contestant to make a 10-foot putt on the first attempt will win a prize, as will every contestant to make a 20-foot putt on the first try.

Five will qualify to putt for the grand prize, and would have to make a 10-foot putt, a 30-foot putt and a 50-foot putt.

The tournament is open to males and females older than 18 and not involved with high school sports activities.

There is no entry fee, but mulligans can be purchased for $2 each or six for $10.
