The Hillsboro Recreation Commission is inviting runners and walkers to enter the fourth annual Frostbite Four-Mile Run on New Year?s Day.
The non-competitive event will begin at 2 p.m. Entrants should meet at the Hillsboro Scout House in Memorial Park. The course, which winds through the city, begins and ends at the park.
Entrants who preregister by the Dec. 19 deadline will receive a commemorative gift. The entry fee is $10. Walk-up registrants will be accepted the day of the race.
Entry forms are available at the city office, 118 E. Grand, and at Silver Shears Barber Stylist, 1271⁄2 S. Main.
