Kory Hiebert, a 6-feet, 2-inch freshman from Goessel, was named District Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 9 for District M, Region VI, Division II (NJCAA).
Hiebert, who plays middle hitter on the Hesston College women?s volleyball team, was honored for recording 62 kills in 19 games Oct. 2-9. During that week, the Larks defeated Pratt Community College and took second at the Longview Community College Classic in Lee?s Summit, Mo.
She ended the weekend with a .315 hitting efficiency.
