Gymnastics session to be offered in Hillsboro

The Hillsboro Recreation Commission and Sky?walkers? trampoline and tumbling of Emporia, Wichita, Ottawa and Marion will be offering a second session of summer gymnastics for boys and girls in Hills?boro starting Wednesday, July 30.

The second session will consist of four classes during the morning of July 30 and Aug. 6, 13 and 20. Specific times will be determined based on the number of participants.
?If you have to have a specific time, please let us know,? said Doug Sisk, HRC director. ?The HRC is excited about this opportunity to bring you this program.
?Skywalkers have enjoyed a very successful program since 1987,? he added. ?They have produced many national champions and are currently ranked as the highest level program in the state of Kansas.?
This session is open to youth age 5 through 18. The classes meet in the 4-H Building on the fairgrounds.
?We only allow approximately six kids per instructor and all classes will be an hour in length,? Sisk said. ?This is to ensure the highest quality of instruction.?

All classes will include both trampoline time and tumbling time. The cost for this session is $45.

Sisk said additional sessions will follow after the start of school.
