The Cottonwood Valley All-Stars won the 10-and-under District 4 Cal Ripken District Tournament in Hillsboro this weekend. The All-Stars, comprised of players from several teams in the Cottonwood Valley League, went through the tournament undefeated. It was a four-team event that also included teams from Council Grove, Lyons and Newton. Winning the district tournament qualifies the team for the state tournament in Oswego, July 14-18.
