Centre boys improved to 2-3 with two home wins last week. The Cougars ended a season-opening three-game losing streak Tuesday with a 55-50 win over Elyria Christian. Centre then defeated Canton-Galva, 62-24, Friday.
Centre is done for 2010 and will resume play Jan. 4 at Peabody-Burns in Wheat State League play.

PBHS ended the streak Friday, losing to Berean Acad?emy, 58-19. It was the Warriors? second loss to the private school in 10 days. PBHS (2-4) opens Wheat State League play by hosting Centre Jan. 4.
