Canton-Galva?The Eagles led by as much as 26-17 in the second quarter, but Trinity came back to claim a 56-43 victory at Hutch?inson. Freshman Erika Smith led CGHS with 14 points. The Eagles are scheduled to play at Benning?ton Tues?day and at Ell-Saline Friday.
Centre?The Cougars defeated White City, 32-25, in overtime. Centre rallied in the fourth quarter to tie the low-scoring game at 24 at the end of regulation, then caught fire in overtime with an 8-1 surge. Cacey Simons led CHS with 11 points, including five in the overtime. Centre (2-0 WSL, 5-3), will play its next two games at home versus Little River Tuesday and Hope Friday.
Goessel?The Bluebirds overcame an eight-point deficit in the fourth quarter to upend Solo?mon on the road, 39-37. Alex Hiebert led a foursome of scorers with 10 points, Shanna Klassen tossed in nine and Aimee Flaming and Jennifer Van Horn added eight each. Goessel (1-2 WSL, 2-6) is scheduled to play at Flinthills Tuesday and at Elyria Christian Friday.
Peabody-Burns?The Warriors came close to their first win of the year, falling short at home against Hope, 39-34. PBHS (0-2, 0-6) will play at White City Tuesday, then will host Wakefield Friday.

Centre at Peabody? A late rally by Peabody-Burns fell short as the Centre Cougars prevailed 33-30 in their game at Peabody last Tuesday. The Cougars had built a 28-19 lead through three quarters. Svoboda scored 16 to pace Centre while Barnes led Peabody with 10.
Goessel?The Bluebirds let a one-point lead slip away in the fourth quarter in a 40-37 loss last Tuesday at Hope. The Bluebirds (1-6, 0-2) got a team-high 11 points and four rebounds from Jennifer Van Horn. S. Sizemore paced Hope with 24.
Canton-Galva?Berean Academy shut out the Eagles in the second half en route to a 54-14 win in Elbing last Tuesday. The halftime score was 28-14. Voth led the Eagles with six points.
