Centre?The Cougars (7-3, 12-7) defeated league opponent Solomon, 54-50, on the road last Monday. Tanner Brunner led the Cougars with 20 points, with Brian Burhoop adding 19.

The Cougars have the second seed, earning a bye for the first round of sub-state play, and is scheduled to play at Burrton Friday against the winner of the Little River and Claflin game scheduled for Tuesday.

Canton-Galva?The Eagles (2-8, 6-14) lost to league opponent Marion (2-8, 8-12) on the road Thursday, 55-24, in a make-up game.

The Eagles also lost to non-league opponent Little River (5-3, 12-8) Feb. 22, 51-39.

The sixth-seeded Eagles were scheduled to begin sub-state play Monday, facing No. 3 seed Moundridge (8-1, 15-5) on the road. The winner of that game will play Thursday versus the winner of the Pratt Skyline/Herington game.

Goessel?The Bluebirds (4-3, 10-10) were not scheduled to play Friday, but lost to non-league opponent Berean (10-1, 21-1) last Tuesday, 58-42.

Goessel will begin sub-state play at home March 3 against Burrton (5-15).

Peabody-Burns?The Warriors (2-6, 5-15) fell to league opponent Hope (8-0, 14-4) on the road last Tuesday, 64-55.

The Warriors were scheduled to begin sub-state play against top-seeded Berean Monday. The winner of that game will play Thursday against the winner of Monday?s Inman and Ellinwood game.
