Farm Bureau Financial, a bowling team with members from across Marion County, was notified Dec. 30 that its members won the team division of the 28th annual Kansas State Senior Open Handicap Bowling Tourna?ment.
The tournament was held in Oct ober at Royal Crest Lanes in Lawrence.
Hillsboro?s Willard Glasgow, Tampa?s Wilbert Bakhus and Marion?s Kenny Rindt and Jim Wyatt bowled a 2,225 scratch score, with their handicap score of 2,796 winning the tournament.
Rindt took second place in the Class D singles division with a scratch score of 606 and a handicap tally of 738. The team bowls in the Marion Monday Night League.
