Roger Flaming, Phillip Thiessen, Anthony Thiessen and Doug Dick shot a 61 to win the seventh annual Hillsboro Community Medical Center Charity Golf Classic at the Hillsboro Municipal Golf Course Aug 10.
Fifteen teams participated in the four-person scramble.
Second place in the championship flight went to Rich Nickel, Jerold Vogt, Andy Friesen and Mike Esau with a score of 63.
In the first flight, first place went to the Tabor College team comprised of Lawrence Ressler, Jeremy Jordan, Clint Seibel and Shawn Winter.
Second place in the flight belonged to the team from Preferred Health Systems with Jeremy Gilson, Ryan Tandy, Mike Moore and Bruce Witt.
The team of second-flight winners was Carolyn and Harvey Ray and Herman and Chris Hoffman.
Second place went to the team representing Cooperative Grain & Supply and Countryside Feed, whose members were Lyman Adams, Kyle Cederberg, DeLayne Herbel and Jan Pruitt.
Proceeds from the tournament will be used to purchase a new back-up generator.
