42 teams compete at Hillsboro-Marion scramble

The team of Gooch, Wintz and Ontjes posted a score of 115 to win the 36-hole Hills?boro-Marion 3-person Scramble played this weekend on the courses at each community.
The team of Buchholtz, Watts and Vahsholtz also scored a 115, but placed second on a tiebreaker.
Tournament officials did not provide first names.
Rounding out the top five finishers in the nine-team championship flight were Hett, Hess and Hett (116) in third, Sherrard, Ash and Edwards (116) in fourth and Gordon, Christensen and Carlson (118) in fifth.
The winning team in the First Flight were Hurst, Hurst and Hurst (123), followed by O?Hare, Johnson and Padgett (123), Loeffler, Osbourn and Loeffler (124), Beeton, Makovic and Kick?haefer (125).
The Second Flight winner was the team of Dick, Waner and Dick (129), followed by Nichols, Walker and Lara (129), Gillispie, Buller and Roman (129), Hannaford, Hannaford and Buchholtz (129) and Moss, Moss and Richert (132).
The Third Flight winner was the team Zerger, Peters and Reimer (137), followed by Unruh, Unruh and Borg (137), Moore, Walsh and Donley (137), Morris, Runge and Coffman (138) and Kelly, Coffman and Fromm (141).
The tournament attracted 42 three-person teams in all.
