Devin Gomez, a member of the Hillsboro Kids Wrestling Club, competes in the age 6 and older division at the 10th annual Hillsboro Takedown Tournament on Dec. 6. Scott O?Hare, who leads the local wrestling club and was the director of the tournament, said, ?We ended up with 219 wrestlers from about 23 wrestling clubs around the state?22 wrestlers from Hillsboro competed. It was a huge success. It ran very smoothly and seemed to be a positive experience for those involved. We saw some very exciting wrestling?and some very excited kids walking around afterward, proudly wearing their medals or carrying their trophies.?
