Windle sets record at Missouri Southern

The Tabor College indoor track and field team competed at the Missouri Southern Invitational Friday and Saturday.

Alyssa Windle was Tabor’s highest finisher, placing fifth in the shot put (44 feet, 6 inches), setting a new indoor record and qualifying for nationals. She was 19th in the weight throw (44-103⁄4).

Emily Kemling was eighth in the 5,000 (19:49.81), 25th in the 3,000 (11:39.17) and 28th in the mile (5:46.36).

Marah Franz was 14th in the pole vault (9-41⁄4).

Haley Falk was 14th in the pole vault (9-41⁄4), 93rd in the 60-meter dash preliminaries (8.82) and 120th in the 200 (32.92).

Lindsey Crist was 16th in the 5,000 (22:16.98) and 58th in the mile (6:33.3).

Amy Horner was 19th in the triple jump (33-101⁄4), while Ashton Kroeker was 20th in the high jump (4-7) and in the triple jump (33-91⁄4).

Keeley Kroeker was 25th in the 600-yard run (1:42.52).

Amy Horner, Franz, Ashton Kroeker and Hagan were 23rd in the 4×400 (4:31.16).

Sarah Hagan was 45th in the 400 (1:06.91).

Meanwhile, Avery Franz was the men’s highest placer, finishing ninth in the triple jump (42-4). He was 36th in the long jump (19-21⁄4) and 38th in the 800 (2:12.86).

Thomas Bacon, Riley Ballou-Lyngstad, David Scharff and Josh Richert were 14th in the distance medley (11:36.44).

Parker Findley was 15th in the 60 preliminaries (8.75).

Caleb Gaede was 18th in the high jump (5-83⁄4).

Johnny Loera was 18th in the weight throw (44-43⁄4) and 20th in the shot put (43-101⁄2).

Josh Richert was 19th in the 800 (2:07.9).

Daniel Quiring was 20th in the weight throw (44-21⁄4) and 23rd in the shot put (42-101⁄4).

Also competing in the shot put were: Denton Rathke 36th (39-11⁄4), Israel Washington 38th (38-11), Matt Richert 41st (38-11⁄2) and Wyatt Dickinson 47th (36-43⁄4).

Thomas Bacon was 25th in the 800 (2:09.33), while Josh Richert, Ballou-Lyngstad, Franz and Scharff were 27th in the 4×400 (3:51.86).

Ballou-Lyngstad was 32nd in the 800 (2:11.58).

Washington was 33rd in the weight throw (35-73⁄4), Dickinson 35th (33-91⁄4) and Rathke 37th (30-1⁄2).

Adam Burum was 53rd in the 3,000 (10:49.22), while David Scharff was 80th in the 200 (24.66).

Coming—Tabor will compete at the KCAC Indoor Championships Feb. 3-4 at Pittsburg.
