TC?men?s tennis No. 2 KCAC?tournament seed

Winning a tiebreaker against Bethel May 24, the Tabor men?s tennis team (8-7, 5-2) will enter the KCAC team tournament in Wichita as the No. 2 seed.

Tabor beat Bethel 5-4. They fell at Seminole State 9-0 May 26.

Tabor finished the regular season with a 7-2 victory at Oklahoma Wesleyan May 26.

The Bluejay women ( 7-8, 3-4) were a coin-flip from entry into the women?s tournament as a No. 4 seed.

?The guys win over Bethel was a huge win for my young team,? said coach Michael Hagen. ?They played with a lot of heart.?

Bethany (11-3, 7-0) will be the No. 1 seed in the men?s tournament and will play No. 4 McPherson (6-4, 4-3). Tabor will play No. 3 Bethel (10-7, 5-2).

Bethel (13-4,7-0) is the top seed in the womens? tournament. They will play No. 4 Southwestern (7-4, 3-4). Kansas Wesleyan (10-8, 6-1), the No.2 seed, will face No. 3 Bethany (7-5, 4-2).

Both tournaments start 9 a.m. Friday at the Riverside Tennis Center.
