TC women lose twice on the road

The Tabor women?s basketball team lost two road games last week, dropping to 0-4 for the young season.

College of Saint Mary?Tabor lost, 77-62, to 23rd-ranked College of Saint Mary Saturday.

The Bluejays trailed 38-30 at halftime. Saint Mary out?scored Tabor by seven in the second half for the final 15-point margin.

Hannah Leppke led the Bluejays with 18 points, followed by Tonisha Dean with 17.

Hastings?Tabor lost at Hastings College, 76-61, last Tues?day. The Bluejays trailed 42-26 at halftime and outscored Hastings 35-34 in the second half.

Erin Maxwell and Mallory Zuercher led Tabor with 11 points apiece. Janelle Rust added 10.

Coming?Tabor will compete at the John Brown University Classic in Siloam Springs, Ark., Friday and Saturday. The Bluejays will face 10th-ranked College of the Ozarks Friday at 6 p.m., then will play John Brown Saturday at 3 p.m.

The Bluejays are scheduled to play at Emporia State Monday at 5:30 p.m.
