Tabor College has earned the 2016-17 KCAC Commissioner’s Cup, given to the member institution accumulating the most points for regular-season performance over three athletic seasons.
The Bluejays tallied 131 points, aided by first-place finishes in football and men’s basketball; second-place finishes in women’s basketball, volleyball and baseball; and a third-place finish in women’s tennis.
Tabor scored 45 points in the spring, 42 points last winter and 44 points for the fall season.
The maximum points given to first-place finishers is equal to the number of conference teams competing in each sport.
