The Tabor College volleyball team split four games last weekend at the Kansas Wesleyan tournament.
The Bluejays opened with a 3-1 loss to Oklahoma City University Saturday (25-21, 18-25, 17-25, 15-25).
Tena Loewen led Tabor?s attack with nine kills. Kate?lin Horstick had two solo blocks. Kelsea Brittain added 12 assists, and Megan Voth 10. Whitney Maple led the team with 15 digs.
Tabor then lost 3-1 to Briar Cliff University (16-25, 24-26, 25-21, 22-25).
Loewen led the Bluejays with 13 kills. Voth contributed 18 assists and Maple had 18 digs.
The Bluejays capped the tournament with back-to-back wins Sunday. Tabor defeated Mount Marty College 3-0 (25-19, 25-14, 25-22) and Haskell Indian Nations University 3-1 (25-11, 17-25, 25-17, 25-11).
Coming?Tabor (3-5) will open conference play tonight at Southwestern. Game time is 7 p.m. The Bluejays will compete in the Springfield Tournament Friday and Saturday.
