The Tabor College indoor track and field team competed at the Scott Nisely Invitational hosted by Doane Saturday.
Alyssa Windle highlighted the women?s performances by winning the shot put with a throw of 40 feet, 83?4 inches.
Windle also finished fourth in the weight throw (45-1?4).
Additional women?s Top 10 performances included: Aaliyah Carter, fourth in the 200 (27.07) and eighth in the 60-meter dash (8.19); Julie Loewen, fifth in the 800 (2:37.82); Katey Whitesell, fifth in the 5,000 (20:53.78); Kelly Gomez, sixth in the 800 (2:42.13); Sarah Hagen, Keeley Kroe?ker, Amy Horner and Loewen, ninth in the 4×400 relay (4:40.79); and Kaylee Schmidt, 10th in the 800 (2:50.79).
Tyler Parrish led the men?s effort with a fifth-place finish in the 800 (2:03.39). Other Top 10 performances were: Josh Richert, eighth in the 1,000 (2:45.72); Avery Franz, Richert, Si Luc and Parrish, eighth in the 4×400 (3:39.08); Daniel Quiring, ninth in the shot put (42-11?4); and Johnny Loera, 10th in the shot put (41-41?2).
Coming?Tabor will participate Friday in the Cavalier Invitational at Johnson County Com?munity College.
