TC tennis faces tough competition

Illia Filanchuk returns the ball during the No. 1 singles match with Friends Saturday. Filanchuk lost to Pascal Wawrzinek, 6-2, 6-7, 6-4. In No. 1 doubles, Filanchuk and his partner, Angel Miguel, earned one of Tabor’s two victories on the day.

The Tabor College tennis teams faced three KCAC opponents last week.

The Bluejay women swept Friends Saturday to earn Tabor’s only win of the week. Tabor lost to Southwestern Thursday and Kansas Wesleyan Monday.

Coming—Tabor will play at McPherson today at 3 p.m. and will travel to Ottawa Saturday. Matches are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
