TC Tennis completes KCAC play

With a 3-0 week, the Tabor College men?s tennis team has moved up in the KCAC standings. April 19, the Bluejays (7-7, 5-2) swept Sterling 9-0, then beat the Mound?builders 9-0 Tuesday and squeaked past Bethel 5-4 Saturday.

The week ends Tabor?s regular season in a tie with Bethel for second in the KCAC. Beth?any won the title at 10-3, 6-0.

The Tabor women finished the week 2-1. In the final week of the KCAC regular season, the Bluejays (6-8, 3-4) beat Sterling 9-0 Monday and Southwestern 5-4 Thursday before falling to Bethel 9-0 Saturday.

Tabor finished in a tie for fourth in the KCAC with Southwestern. Bethel won the title with 13-4, 7-0 records.

Both teams played non-conference opponents Seminole State College and Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Okla., Monday. Results were not available at press time.

The KCAC tournament will be played at Riverside Tennis Center in Wichita May 7.
