Six Bluejay athletes represented Tabor at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships Feb. 28 to March 2 in Geneva, Ohio.
Senior Emily Post earned All-American honors with a seventh-place finish in triple jump with a distance of 11.34 meters.
Post also tied for 10th in the high jump (1.60).
The men’s 4×800 team of Phillip Magos, Bret Mueller, Nathan Vogel and Garrett Daugherty finished 10th in the preliminary round with a time of 7:55.80, but did not qualify for the finals.
Daugherty finished 15th in the 1,000 meters.
“Everyone competed very well, and it was especially exciting to see Emily do so well in both her events since she is a senior and this will be her last indoor track season,” coach Dave Kroeker said.
“Everyone represented Tabor College very well, and I am proud of both their performances and their character throughout our time traveling and competing at nationals.”
