TC men split games

After falling to Ottawa earlier in the week, the Tabor College men?s soccer team earned a 2-1 overtime victory over Bethel Saturday.

After a scoreless first half, Bethel got on the board with a goal in the 46th minute. Tabor scored 10 minutes later when Niklas Lenz found the back of the net off an assist by Agustin Ariza.

The teams remained locked at 1 until Bransyn Felty scored the game-winner in overtime.

Tabor outshot Bethel, 13-11, including 5-4 shots on goal. Goalkeeper Bryson Henry had three saves.

Ottawa?Tabor lost, 2-0, Wednesday, after the Braves scored a pair of second-half goals. Ottawa outshot Tabor, 14-7, including 7-3 shots on goal. Goalkeeper Bryson Henry had five saves.

Coming?Tabor (4-5, 7-9)?was scheduled to conclude the season by hosting No. 2 Oklahoma Wesleyan (9-0, 16-1) Tuesday.
