Tabor women?s soccer falls to No. 25 Eagles

The Tabor College women?s soccer team ended its season with an 8-2 loss to No. 25 Oklahoma Wesleyan Tuesday.

Tabor scored the game?s first goal in the sixth minute when Nicole Stevenson found the back of the net off an assist by Keeley Braun.

From there, the Eagles scored five goals in a 20-minute span.

Brenna Cooper scored Tabor?s second goal in the 41st minute, but Oklahoma Wesleyan scored 40 seconds later to enjoy a 6-2 lead at halftime.

The Eagles scored two more goals in the second half.

Oklahoma Wesleyan outshot Tabor 13-7, including 12-4 shots on goal.

Goalkeeper Carly Rowan had three saves.

Tabor finished seventh in the KCAC with a 2-6-2 record, 4-11-2 overall.

The top six teams advanced to the KCAC tournament.
