Tabor women?s soccer defeats Sterling

The Tabor College women?s soccer team earned a 3-2 victory over Sterling Saturday.

Nicole Stevenson scored Tabor?s first goal in the ninth minute of play, and Keeley Braun gave the Bluejays a 2-0 advantage with a second goal less than two minutes later. Sterling scored soon after, for a 2-1 margin at intermission.

The Warriors tied the game with a goal in the 50th minute, but Braun scored again 10 minutes later to break the tie.

Sterling outshot Tabor, 17-7, including 10-5 shots on goal. Goalkeeper Carly Rowan had eight saves.

Kansas Wesleyan?Tabor lost, 4-0, Wednesday. The Coyotes took control with three first-half goals and solidified the win with one more score in the second half.

Kansas Wesleyan dominated the game, out-shooting Tabor 29-0. The Coyotes took 13 shots on goal. Goalkeeper Carly Rowan had four saves.

Coming?Tabor (1-3-2, 3-8-2) will host Friends (2-4, 8-5) Saturday at 1 p.m.
