Tabor, SIDHelp unveil athletics news website

Tabor College has launched a new Web site for reporting athletics news related to all of its 14 varsity teams.

TaborBluejays.com will include both the latest Tabor College sports news and up-to-date team information, as well as links to the websites of the regional conference and national association that the Bluejays are affililiated with.

Football fans can log-on to the website to listen to live and archived game broadcasts. Readers can subscribe to the website for updates via email and/or RSS.

?We have great Bluejays sports fans all across the nation,? Vice President of Athletics Rusty Allen said. ?We wanted to create a place on the Internet for them to enjoy the experience of following Tabor teams and players, and this website dedicated to Bluejays sports is perfect for that purpose.?

TaborBluejays.com is managed by Bluejays Sports Information Director Anthony Monson, who worked with the Tabor communications staff and SIDHelp to set up the new site.

According to its website, SIDHelp is a customizable web application that will assist anyone that is responsible for entering and updating information for their conference, league or school website.

According to its website, SIDHelp costs $2,700 in its first year of operation, $2,000 annually, and the price includes a 1-time setup fee of $700.
