After Saint Gregory?s got on the board first with a goal at the 24:12 mark, Tabor?s Philipp Wahl answered with a goal at 43:34; the half ended with the teams locked at 1-1. Bransyn Felty scored the winning goal at 72:03.
Tabor outshot Saint Gregory?s 10-6, and Bluejay goalkeeper Antoine Williams recorded one save.
The Bluejay women, meanwhile, lost 3-2. Saint Gregory?s jumped to a 1-0 lead by halftime, then scored two more goals before Tabor got on the board.
Ashtyn Stephens scored both of Tabor?s second-half goals, assisted by Jessica Renzelman for the first score. Tabor outshot Saint Gregory?s 12-11; goalkeeper Amber Mayer had four saves.
With the loss, Tabor drops to 1-2 on the season.
Manhattan Christian?The Tabor men picked up their first win of the regular season Wednesday, defeating Manhattan Christian College, 1-0, on the road.
After a scoreless first half, Philipp Wahl knocked in the winning goal at the 75-minute mark, assisted by Marian Saar.
Antoine Williams played 90 minutes as goalkeeper and had one save.
The women?s game at Manhattan Christian was canceled.
Coming?Both teams are scheduled to compete at Avila University today, with women?s action beginning at 2 p.m. and the men to follow at 4 p.m.
Tabor will host York College Friday, with the women?s game kicking off at 5 p.m. and the men?s at 7:30 p.m.
