Tabor men’s soccer team tags Central 2-0 but stumbles at Doane

The Tabor College men?s soccer team fell short Wednesday night against Doane College. One goal was all Doane needed, winning 1-0.

Tabor goalie Aaron Schmucker recorded six saves for the Bluejays, as Doane out- shot Tabor 18-7 for the game.

?It was a disappointing result for the men?s side,? Brubacher said. ?I saw improvements in the defensive and midfield play, but we were unable to create quality chances in our attacking third.

?There was some quality play and good signs for our side,? Brubacher added. ?But we need to continue to improve in order to win consistently.?
