The Tabor College men’s soccer team earned its second KCAC victory of the season by defeating Bethel, 4-0, Saturday.
Tabor scored twice in each half. Bransyn Felty put the Bluejays on the board with a goal in the second minute of play. Drew Janzen assisted Agustin Ariza in scoring Tabor’s second goal in the 39th minute, giving Tabor a 2-0 lead at halftime.
After intermission, Francisco Gallinal found the back of the net off an assist by Lucas Mattos in the 55th minute. Pedro Silva concluded scoring with a goal assisted by Gallinal in the 61st minute of play.
Tabor outshot Bethel, 22-3, and held a 10-3 advantage in shots on goal. Goalkeeper Bryson Henry had three saves.
Friends—Tabor lost to the Falcons, 4-2, Wednesday.
Oscar Moyano scored in the 20th minute to give Tabor the lead, but the Falcons scored twice within six minutes to take a 2-1 lead by halftime.
Bransyn Felty tied the game at 2 with a goal in the 48th minute of play, but Friends scored twice more to take the lead for good.
The Falcons outshot Tabor, 27-7, and held a 17-4 advantage in shots on goal.
Goalkeeper Derrick Eszlinger had 12 saves.
Coming—Tabor (2-5-1, 4-9-1) will travel to top-ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan (8-0, 14-0-1) tonight for a 7:30 p.m. game. The Bluejays will host Ottawa (4-3-1, 5-8-2) Saturday at 8:30 p.m.
