The Tabor College baseball team remained in second place in the KCAC after splitting a four-game series with St. Mary Friday and Saturday.
The Bluejays traveled to Leavenworth Friday, winning the first game, 6-5, and dropping the second one, 6-5.
In the second game, Tabor relied on a six-run top fifth inning and held the Squires scoreless the last 21?2 innings.
Tyler Fenton picked up the pitching victory, giving up five runs, striking out four and walking two in five innings.
Paul Bridenbaugh pitched two innings, allowing two hits and striking out one.
CJ Henrichsen, Nathan Rausch and Dustin Dick each finished with 1-for-3 with two runs batted in.
Tabor returned to Hillsboro for the last two games of the series, losing the first one, 6-4, and winning the second, 6-5.
In the series finale, the Bluejays scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh to overcome a 5-3 deficit.

Tabor (21-14, 8-4) will start a four-game series Thursday, with two games in Hillsboro against Ottawa. Games 3 and 4 will be in Ottawa Saturday.
