Gavin Serene, Hillsboro High School senior, signed a letter of intent May 15 to play basketball at Tabor College next year. The 5-foot, 6-inch guard shot 41.3 percent from 3-point range on the way to averaging 7.7 points and 2.7 assists per game for the 13-10 Trojans.
