Loewen paces Tabor track team

David Loewen paved the way for the men with a second-place finish in the javelin (157 feet, 41?2 inches) and a fourth-place finish in discus (139-73?4)

Robert Nenadal placed third in the hammer (148-21?2), but was the top collegiate finisher. Nenadal placed fifth in the discus (138-21?4).

Additional top-five placers were Bret Mueller, fourth in the 800 (1:59.92); Goeff Pugh, fourth in pole vault (12-51?2); and Tyler Entz, fifth in high jump (6-0).

Kristen Harris led the Bluejay women with a fourth-place finish in the 400 hurdles?(1 minute, 7.84 seconds). She placed fifth in the pole vault with a jump of 10-113?4 which tied her own school record.

The 4×400 relay also placed fourth (4:33.58).

Coming?The team will compete at the KCAC Outdoor Championships at Bethel College Friday and Saturday.
