Michael Klaassen, a Hillsboro High School senior, signed a letter of intent Friday to participate in track and field at Tabor College next year. Klaassen?s specialty is throwing events. Seated with him are his parents, Janell and Milford Klaassen. Milford Klaassen still holds the HHS record for the shot put with a throw of 54 feet, 101⁄2 inches in 1968.
