Klaassen signs for Tabor College track

MichaelKlaassenSign343.jpg Michael Klaassen, a Hillsboro High School senior, signed a letter of intent Friday to participate in track and field at Tabor College next year. Klaassen?s specialty is throwing events. Seated with him are his parents, Janell and Milford Klaassen. Standing are (from left) Dennis Boldt, head track coach at HHS, Dave Kroeker, head trackcoach at Tabor College, and Don Penner, HHS assistant track coach for throws. Milford Klaassen still holds the HHS record for the shot put with a throw of 54 feet, 101⁄2 inches in 1968.
