Kaufman and Wolf named to 1st team

Five members of the Tabor College volleyball team have earned all-conference recognition for the 2013 season.
Two athletes earned first-team honors: seniors Katie Kaufman and Holli Wolf.
Kaufman, a 5-foot, 11-inch outside hitter, and Wolf, a 5-4 setter, were both named to the first team last year nd were selected to this year?s preseason team.
Tabor placed two athletes on the second team:?freshman outside hitter Tena Loewen (5-11)?and senior outside hitter Jessie Vogts (6-0).
Loewen was named Freshman of the Year.
Senior defensive specialist Amy Jo Maphet (5-5) earned honorable mention.
Tabor finished the regular season as co-champions with Kansas Wesleyan at 16-2. The Bluejays ended their season with a 25-7 record.
