Honn qualifies for NAIA meet

Competing in the South?western Relays at Cowley Community College in Arkansas City on Saturday, the Tabor track team qualified one athlete for the NAIA Outdoor Championships.

Buhler freshman Tynan Honn qualified for NAIA nationals in the shot put, throwing a distance 12.62 meters. She placed third in the event.

Tabor also finished with three silver medals. Tasia Johnson was second in the long jump, recording a distance of 18-05.25.

Tabor also took second in the womens? 4×100 meter relay (49.31)?and the womens? 4×400 meter relay (4:00.56).

Coming?Tabor travels to Ottawa Saturday for the KCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
