Hillsboro High School senior Ben Gottsch signed a letter of intent Monday to play football at Tabor College next fall. Slowed by an injury early in the season, Gottsch started at quarterback for the 6-4 Trojans down the stretch and threw for 488 yards and six touchdowns in five games. Sitting with him is his father and future head coach, Mike Gottsch of Tabor.

Hillsboro High School senior Ishmael Morris, flanked by aunt and uncle LeNora and Londell Duerksen, signed a letter of intent Monday to play football at Tabor College next fall. Tabor head coach Mike Gottsch stands behind them. A first team all-league running back and honorable-mention defensive back this past fall, Morris ran for 1,366 yards and scored 17 touchdowns at HHS.
