Goertzen signs for Bethel volleyball


GoertzensignBethelCropped Goessel High School senior Tia Goertzen signed a letter of intent April 17 to play volleyball next year at Bethel College. During her career at Goessel, Goertzen recorded 589 kills, 695 digs and 124 ace serves. She was named to the Kansas Volleyball Association All-Academic Team in 2011 and 2012. Additionally, she was a first-team all-league selection and a second-team all-state selection both years. She was a second-team all-league selection in 2010. Seated with Goertzen are her parents, Judy and Tim Goertzen.
