Four TC softball players earn honors

Four members of the 14-34 Tabor College softball team have received All-KCAC recognition from conference coaches as honorable mention selections.

Junior third baseman Araselly Vargas led the Bluejays in RBIs with 38. She batted .324 over 46 games this season and had 45 hits, including six home runs. Vargas was also named to the Gold Glove Team.

Senior outfielder Stormie Bush hit a team-best .362 over 40 games this season. She tallied 50 hits and batted in 29 runs.

Senior outfielder Kellyn Holt led the team in stolen bases with 24. She batted .314 over 48 games and recorded 49 hits, including six triples.

Junior catcher Sara Vela batted .296 over 37 games this season. She had 29 hits and drove in 13 runs.

Tabor finished ninth in the KCAC this year with a conference record of 6-16.
